In the List Editor, I created, named and saved a focus definition.
Later I superceded it with a different definition, saved under a different name.
I would now like to delete the first one so that it no longer appears in the list.
How can I accomplish that?

Unless I’m mistaken, these are (MIDI) Logical Editor presets. On Windows, they are stored as .xml files in this location:
C:\Users\[USER NAME]\Documents\Steinberg\Cubase\User Presets\Logical Edit
Close Cubase, navigate to the folder location above and simply delete the XML file.
