sorry if this topic has already been covered (I’m quite sure it is), I didn’t find any other topic about this, maybe I did not use the right keywords.
So here’s the thing: I’m trying to copy this passage from 1st Violins. (Bärenreiter Ed.)
AFAIK, since I have a section where they play unison but with multiple voices and then divisi on the same stave, Dorico will not condense them in order to avoid confusion. The result is that I have an extra staves that cramps a little the page and it looks odd. I tried to cast off differently but I’m not satisfied with the result (too many/few bars on some pages).
Am I missing something? Is there an effective workaround in order to achieve this?
(Also, is it something that will change in the next releases of Dorico?)
