Little bug in mixer when pasting a send (instead of manualy insert it)

When I manualy insert a send in the last empty slot in a channel, a new empty slot will be added so that you are able to add another send.

But if you paste a send in the last empty slot no new empty slot is inserted.

maybe it’s just me but I don’t quite get what you mean.
Could you post two screenshots and visualize both methods, please?

How exactly do you do that?

If you look at this screenshot: There’s no empty slot under the second send where I could insert a third send - and that’s because I copy&pasted the second send instead of inserting it manualy.
If I insert the second send manually you can see that now there’s an empty slot under the second send:

thanks for the screenshots.

Do you mean dragging an insert FX someplace else by holding Alt (Option)?
I get what you are saying although it’s difficult to see in the screenshots. However, I can’t replicate this behaviour no matter what I do.
Which Cubase version are you on?
What happens if you drag an insert below the second slot of method one (“copy & paste”)? Do you see a new slot opening up?

Right click on a send opens a menu where you can choose “copy”. Then right click on the empty slot. Same menu opens. Choose “paste”. Copied send is pasted in empty slot but no new empty slot is created.

I believe I’ve encountered this before. If you close the mixer window and reopen it, you should see a new, empty slot below your pasted one.

OMG - stupid me!!! I was totally fixated on Inserts although this thread has written SENDS all over. My bad, excuse my stupidity, please…

I have just tried, closing/reopening the mixer window didn’t work. However, if you temporarily insert a send on any other channel a new slot will be opened below the previously pasted one no matter which insert slot you use on the temp track.
