So I’ve just installed CB15 Pro and the first thing I noticed was that I’m now able to use the keyboard shortcuts while the right zone is open.

I think I’ll use this post to comment on all the ‘little things’ I’m finding out about CB15P that wasn’t in CB14P.
Thank you, Steinberg, for adding a shortcut to disable a track (another “FINALLY!!”). I’ve now created a macro that disables AND hides an instrument track, once I’ve rendered it, at the press of a button. The joy… you have no idea!
Same here - the little things that matter! The option to insert little dotted lines to separate different plugin groups in customized plugin collections. I wouldn’t want to miss it now that I have it. 
Such a nice visual aid to spot the correct group right away!

Can you be more specific, please? Which key commands didn’t work in Cubase 14 with the right zone opened? I didn’t notice…
As an example, I wasn’t able to switch between the three object sizing options (Normal Sizing, Sizing Moves Content and Sizing Applies Time Stretching) using the “1” key.
Another example: I wasn’t able to use the mouse wheel to adjust the Locator Positions.
Hmm, I didn’t encounter any problems with any of these (I’m on Windows).

Unless I’m misunderstanding, there’s been a keyboard shortcut to enable/disable tracks for years?
It was something I really needed to help my workflow, as right-clicking on each track and selecting Disable Selected Tracks after it had been rendered was becoming tedious.
I checked the MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant first – wasn’t there; so I thought it must be in the Key Commands section and I would probably need to assign a key combination or create a macro – wasn’t there either.
If you’ve still got CB14, please point it out to me. I’ll happily stand corrected.
I’m afraid I no longer have C14 to provide a screenshot, but the enable/disable track key command has been there for several version. I’ve been using it daily for at least six years, as it’s been a major part of my workflow.
I did find a question about it from 2024, where the command is mentioned. So that would have been 13/14.
ThenI don’t know what I was doing wrong (something, evidently). In the Key Commands search field, I had entered “disable”, hoping it would show up in the list of results that matched my search criteria… it didn’t.
Anyway, I’ve got it now.

I think it was Cubase 14 that changed the keyboard shortcut for “Set Track/Event Color” to a toggle. Previously, you pressed the keyboard shortcut to open the color panel, but then had to either hit the Esc key or mouse click the [X] to close it. Now, the same keyboard shortcut used to open the panel can be pressed again to close it. It’s a little thing, but toggle-able shortcuts like this go A LONG way to making the program feel less clunky and more modern.
… but it’s great to know that Steinberg recognises (and acts upon) the little things the consumer classes as important to workflow improvement. Long may that continue… like forever long.
So I just realised I now have a maximum buffer size of 4096 in CB15, up from 2048.
