Hi, does anyone have any views on having a back up system for playing live with a DAW ?. I have recently started playing live with Cantabile Performer running mostly Kontakt vsts and using a fairly ordanary Windows 7 Dell laptop with a 500gb SSD drive and a Steinberg UR22 soundcard. I keep it simple using my existing Korg Triton LE as a controller keyboard only with the aid of a Korg Nanokontrol2. Im pretty new to playing this way but is a duplicate laptop fully loaded to replace a failed one the way to go?, are there other options ?, what do others do?.
