Loading Cubase Pro 15 preferences and key commands in Nuendo 15?

If I wanted to have my Cubase Pro 15 preferences and key commands in Nuendo, is it enough to save them with a specific name, then copy the prefs from

“C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 15_64\Presets\Configurations”
to
“C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Nuendo 15_64\Presets\Configurations”

and the key commands from

“C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 15_64\Presets\KeyCommands”
to
“C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Nuendo 15_64\Presets\KeyCommands”

or will that mess up Nuendo somehow?

Is there a more appropriate way to do this?

Use Profile Manager to export your profile out of Cubase and import it into Nuendo.

That method works. I use both Cubase and Nuendo and have exchanged preferences between both programs that way several times.

It works great that way on Mac (different locations of course).

Profile Manager is much, much easier and faster though, and I didn’t even really know about it until after I had done it the way you’re talking about.

Thanks!
