Loading .fxb files with Wavelab 12 Pro

Recently upgraded Wavelab 11 to Wavelab 12. Wanting to load settings of .fxb plugins (Waves IR-L Mono to be exact) unto new Wavelab 12 Pro batch and unable to do so. The window prompt is looking for .xps files.

Tried returning to previous version, Wavelab 11 Pro, but with the same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Error reads: It is not possible to insert the following plug-in: IR-L Mono

Is your file or montage stereo?

The mono version of the plugin will probably not load for that reason.

Thanks for asking. The .wav file is a mono.

.xps files are the normal preset format for Waves L1 plugins.
The plugin is trying to load the appropriate Impulse Response for the preset you requested.

If you save a Preset using the Save button in IR1 or using the Save As button from the IR1 Menu, it always saves as .xps.
If you save a IR1 Preset using the wavelab Preset Menu above the Plugin, it saves as “.vstpreset”

.fxb files are not Preset files. They are Bank files (a bunch of Presets) and i don’t think you can create those in Wavelab.
Preset files created by some other programs (or DAWs) are many times in the .fxp format.

If you’re on Windows i can suggest locations on where to find the .xps preset files.
