Locate When Clicked In Empty space fails with Group tracks

Hi,

if a group track has read enabled, Locate When Clicked In Empty space fails as clicking at the bottom of the lane will create automatically a volume automation.
Is there a way to avoid it?

This doesn’t happen with Audio or Inst track fortunately.

I see it happpens also with normal automation tracks:(
Is the a way to disable it?
