Location of file containing "Hide" details for VST plugins?

Anyone know what file Cubase stores the “Hidden” flag for VSTs in? Just gone through a lot of hiding of unlicenced UAD plugins and I’d rather not have to do it again on an upgrade or machine rebuild!

Use the Plug-In Manager to create a Collection that doesn’t include the unwanted plugs. Then save & use that Collection.

Cubase stores all this stuff in XML files. Best to leave them alone and use the different dialogs Cubase provides.
As for machine rebuilds &tc, if you’re on Windows, backup this folder
C:\Users*YourUserName*\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 12_64
then paste it all back in. Although it’s rare for a machine rebuild to exactly duplicate the old system, so Cubase may through a fit or two if it can’t find things where it expects them to be…

You could delete the unlicensed UAD plugins.
