Locked out of Dorico Account

Hi, I have been using Dorico 3.5 for the past 5 years, but I was locked out today as it said that I didn’t have the license code. In addition, it says that my soft e-licenser was deactivated. Is there an way to troubleshoot this? Thank you!


Did you modify your computer recently, changing hardware or installing software updates?

You are using a Soft eLicenser, which is basically just some files on disk, and if something significant changes the hardware ID is modified and that invalidates the eLicenser.

However, you should seriously think about updating your license to Dorico 5, because the eLicenser service will be deactivated sometime in May this year.

There is currently a promotion that gives you 40% discount on the standard update price, which is 95,40 Euros (depending on your location it might be a different currency) .

Yes – I’m sure you’ll get this sorted out soon; but there’s about a million new features between 3.5 and v5, so it will definitely be worth it.
