For some reason I keep bumping the piano pedal line and so putting the release offsets wrong. I have vast lines that can span 30 pages or more. I then have to delete and recreate them. This happens to me a lot (don’t know why I am prone to this).

My feature request would be to provide a way to lock the pedal line so it can’t be moved.

If this option exists already I’d be glad to know about it.

No you don’t. You can manipulate using **right-click\>pedal lines** …
If the line is too long. Select the correct ending note. Split the line and then delete the excess one.
Also, positioning follows the standard rules (_alt-arrow_ to move, _shift-alt-arrow_ to change length)

For whatever reason I cannot explain (hopeless, I know) using the various shift commands I can never get it back to where it started. I know I sound crazy. Part of the problem is this is New Complexity music and just finding where you are can be hard.

It’s not a matter of length. It’s that the releases all become offset by some amount I can’t figure out (if I could this would be trivial).
