I for the life of me can’t figure this out, though I KNOW I did this before.
I’m trying to set up my video footage so that it starts at bar 3, but when I change the tempo, it stays at bar 3 instead of moving around. I do this so I can line up certain events in the footage with beat 1 of a measure by adjusting the tempo slightly. Any help would be great! I know it’s simple, I just can’t find it.
Hmm, Musical or Linear Time Base button. Which either looks like a muscial note or a clock face respectively. But I’m not 100% sure that the video track has one, not in front of the DAW… Perhaps it’s been removed? If you don’t see it then you could try Customising the track controls (right mouse on the track controls area), perhaps it’s there?

Ah yes! The dropdown menu arrow in the upper right, “time linear.” Then you can click & drag up/down over the tempo track in the info pane and it adjusts while locking the vid. Thanks!
