Logical Editor Select First Note

Hi there- How would I go about creating a preset in Logical Editor which will allow me to select the First Note of each bar and transpose it up a semitone?
Feeling very stupid here…
Thanks!

Set up the LE Like the pic, hit apply then Shift+Up arrow.

No need to use the up arrow to transpose.

Change the Add target action from 0 to 1.
Change the Function from Select to Transform.

Thank you So MUCH raino! Saved me a lot of time and effort there!

Hey guys, this is very helpful, thanks!
Any ideas about how to select only the first note of a midi event?
As you can see in this screenshot #1, I have a bunch of midi regions, and I’d need to select the first note of each, in order to push them a little bit on the right (this is because I have an offset on the midi track, and when I render I don’t to have the note trimmed badly).

With something similar to rule @JBuck posted, I get every first note of each bar to be selected, as you can see in screenshot #2

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Here’s a macro I created that works. But you will need to have only one MIDI event open in the Key Editor at a time. Or have ‘Edit Active Part Only’ checked. :grinning:

Select First Note

that would be helpful though, thanks!
