I used to be a long time ex member of these forums …
I’ve been busy on various projects … and recently changed my DAW around …
I was once using RME HDSP with my 816 …
More recently I connected the device via Firewire to use it as live instrument rack …
With NO issues.
Due to certain other changes in the studio and a motherboard failure I need to run Cubase on this box.
however when using Cubase I am experiencing glitch free audio, but with LONG drop outs of the audio engine … no errors messages. no crashes no halts … jsut the audio almost seems to fade out or drops to total silence … and then recoveres …after a minute or so … goes for two more three more minutes and then does it again …
Its driving me round the twist …
Anyone got any input on this please?
