Long Glissando with Rhythmic Cues

Hi,

I need help creating the gliss. notation in the uploaded picture. It is from “Behind Bars” page 145. What is the procedure for creating rhythmic cues above the staff in parentheses?

One option would be to use the font MusGlyphs to add the parenthesized note values as staff-attached text.

Another would be to add a new player to your score (who’s not included in the score layout that anyone would read), write the rhythms in that part where you need the cues, then create the cues normally.

If I were doing this, in a simple case like this I’d go the MusGlyphs/staff text route.
