Long note Playback technique trouble

When I add a playing technique in the middle of a note, it doesn’t take effect.
Is there any way to make a technique take effect in the middle of a note?

You would have to slur, rather than tie, the notes together.
For Dorico, a tied note is a single object, so the midi can only be sent once at the start of the note.

Actually, you can have a tie and two different playing techniques (I’m on 6.1, so the bug with the playing techniques lane does not let me show it as it should…), providing you don’t use the same voice for the two tied notes. I have no clue whether that’s useful or not as far as playback is concerned!

I’m slow today. I forgot that route.

Got it!Thank you for your help. Hope someday playing techniques can be triggered in the middle of a note(Because this library’s articulation needs to be triggered in the middle of the note to work correctly.)

Wow, what a strange method — but it worked! hahaha
Dorico users are all scientists.

Believe it or not, I was trained as an engineer before I switched to opera singing
