Long shot: a seven-minute sample mapped to whole keyboard that doesn't stop on key release?

I’m attempting to make a live, keyboard compatible version of a long-form vocal-electronic piece I’m releasing later this month. Essentially I’ve mapped one really long sample (~7 mins) to the entire keyboard, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to have a sample continue to “play” even if all keys are released? I’m worried that if I accidentally release in the middle of the piece, I’ll have to start the whole thing over again. I thought at first that one-shot in playback mode would work, but then it treats each key stroke as a new event - I want them all to continue together and for the sample to keep moving forward if I release. It’s almost as if I need a “ghost note” that continues silently throughout the duration.

Hard to describe, but it would be great if I could make this work… Thoughts?
