We’re working over an Synology servir. With N12 and previous versions, never we’ve had any issue closing projects. You save project and close it almost instantaneously.
Since N13, all the projects takes much more time to close, up to several minutes. Same project, in same computer closes instantaneously with N12.
Is a know issue and is going to be fixed or am I missing something?
This happens with all our studios (9 rooms).

Project closing has changed in Nuendo 13. In Cubase/Nuendo 12 the project closing might lead to a crash. Cubase/Nuendo 13 fixed this to make sure, all necesary components were closed/removed properly.
We’ve returned to N12 mainly because this “feature” (issue for us) and other improvements like now you can’t select several channels with an external controller.
We’ll go up to N13 when it will be useful for us.
I am on Windows and have found that using a proper AV suite, other than that which is built-in, allows faster and more reliable, or stable opening and closing of projects.
On Mac I don’t know if you can select other AV suite unless you’ve a video card installed like Blackmagic.
I’ll try to close the video window before closing project. It’s an idea.
