I just got Dorico a couple of hours ago! My first question: is there a way to see the notation while playing the score?
Yes: you don’t need to be in Play mode to play back, so you can simply stay in Write mode during playback if you wish. Dorico doesn’t scroll the score automatically yet, so you have to move the view to follow the playback line, but of course we plan to add this as soon as we can.
Thanks! So Play mode is for optimizing the final audio output, I presume then. I can still proofread my notation. That’s great.
