Looking for a solution to convert Atari .ALL files to .cpr via SX3 on a Mac

Atari floppies are indeed very picky and usb-connected disk drives are often failure points for various types of floppy files…it’s always been tied to (for some reason), many floppy files just can’t be seen except via an internal drive connected directly to the win95,98,xp etc controllers on old machines …luckily, I still have a dozen or more of the dinosaurs

If you haven’t already done so, write-protect your Atari floppy disks now.

If your Atari ST is still working, see if it will write to a (spare) floppy disk formatted on a PC in 720k format. If that works, you can copy the files using the Atari ST from your old (Atari format) floppies onto the new (PC-720k-formatted) floppies and from there, read them with a PC.

Formatting a floppy disk on a PC using a USB-connected 3.5" floppy disk drive is another matter in an of itself, but it does (still) work on Windows 10, I don’t know about Windows 11.
