Hi skijumptoes,
thanks for trying to help me and providing that link. As mentioned, I’m aware of it; however, I’m afraid that I won’t find all available contents there, for example the “Cubase AI/LE Content Pack” for which a special redeem code was registered and for which I got an activation license which is already stored on by USB eLicenser. How can I just download that content?
Thanks.
You can download it from the elements package, not great as it’s not listed as the AI/LE Pack I know, but it is available to download manually:-
These are the 6 items:-
I don’t know how that code was issued, but if it was some kind of special, maybe that’s why it isn’t listed under the standard LE/AI downloads on the site?
Wow, I really appreciate your help! That’s awsome! Thank you very much!
I can’t really remember the link over which I stubled in order to find that Steinberg goodie today (my browser history was cleared already in the meantime); however it was located directly on any of the Steinberg sites itself. There was just a link available asking to log into your Steinberg account in order to let them check if a valid Cubase AI license is already registered. After that, a personalized download link was sent to me per email along with a download code which I had to enter in the “Download Assistant” tool. After checking again my account, finally a related software activation license code was displayed on the screen. However, instead of “installing” the pack immediately onto my Internet-PC (which is not the desired target), I opened the “eLicenser Control” instead and registered that activation code directly there, as I didn’t like an unwanted install on the wrong PC.
But now I think I have everything I wanted! Again, thanks a lot!
Really good to see that there are helpful people around willing to help so quickly!
Cheers!
Just for information, I finally found the Steinberg link again from where I could obtain the redeem code for the 6 free content packs:

Hello skijumptoes,
if you don’t mind, I’d just have one last question.
Why does it seem that Steinberg is not loading up all software installers anymore to their offline site while all those are available as per “Download Assistant” only? As someone who’d like to update any licensed applications to their relatest releases on an offlice-PC, I can’t find a way to do so. For example, the package for “HALion Sonic SE 3.5.00” is not available for offline download, not even for any of the current and recent Cubase 11 versions. Why? Just to force Cubase users to go online?
Er… you can’t download anything if you don’t go online.
Yes, of course I meant “online with the PC on which Cubase is installed”.
Not sure why they do that. All you can think is that they’re moving away from having their installers available for ‘anyone’ to download perhaps? That and it’s just another location to manage each time there’s an update?
I always keep the files that the download assistant downloads, anyway. And then copy that to a USB stick for my laptop to save downloading them again.
But maybe that doesn’t work for you?
It’s not as if you can’t retrieve the file from where you downloaded it to install on your off-line system.
me too
What would be the correct procedure to obtain the installers only? To continue downloading anyway to the wrong PC via the Download Assistant’s “Install” button, waiting until the download is completed and then to kill the application?
What I don’t get is that I may “download only” Mac files onto my Win64 Internet-PC, but not Win64 files without installing. So, if I’d had a Mac, would it then be possible to download Win64 files there? Why they made it so complicated? Even the Steinberg Video still shows the “Download (only)” option before they have introduced the new application version forcing to install at the same time…
In C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Install Assistant are two executables. Rename them, and nothing will be installed.
Thanks a lot for that hint, Steve.
I’ll try that.
Just wanted to say thank you again to skijumptoes and steve.
Everything worked as proposed.
Now I’m happy
