I am having some issues and it would be great if someone could help.

I have a bunch of songs and I am preparing backing tracks for some live shows. This includes adding some loops. I have a project which is 120 bpm, I go to loop browser, find a 120 bpm loop i like, drop it in but on play back it is going what seems like double speed and sounds nothing like the original. I have tried musical mode, linear mode, stretching the loop (which just makes it sound horrible) All i want to do is get the loop that is the same bpm as my project into my project, surely it cant be difficult and I am just stoopid or sumfin!

Have you tried going to the Audio Pool and uncrossing the ‘Musical Mode’ box? It may be that Cubase is automatically conforming the loop to a different tempo
