In Wavelab 9, if I created a pair of loop markers, then activated the loop button on the transport bar, playback would loop between the markers.
In Wavelab 12 this no longer works, and I have to also select the audio between the markers, before playback will loop.
This completely defeats the purpose of loop markers.

I read this in the manual. But I can’t find “Play Audio Range”… where is it? The manual does not say where it is.
But why was this changed? It seems so pointless… in Wavelab 9 it used to work as you would expect it to work.

Found play audio range. Its yet more functionality that is hidden from the user. There is plenty of space to show the full transport bar, so why hide part of it?

For me, the question was rather why I don’t get a tooltip display about the state of the loop function at the moment I click on the loop button. There should be a display telling me whether I want to loop between the markers or do something else that you would do with an activated loop function.
