Loopbrowser broken after 9.5.40 update

going through samples with align beats to project activated, loopbrowser will keep playing the same sample no matter wich one you select.

switching it off, allows to browse and actually hear the sample you have currently selected.

useless, going back to previous version

This is an known issue of Cubase 9.5.40 and will be fixed by the hotfix, which is planned for this week.
