Loops from file browser not in time

Loops from file browser preview in time, but when I drag them into the session, they are out of time. How can I get the audio loops to be in time?

Hi,

What do you mean by “in time”? Do you mean the tempo is not synced? If this is the case, enable the Musical Mode on the Audio Event, please.

Musical mode will be enabled on the clip automatically if you have the ‘Link to Project Tempo’ button enabled in media bay.

Also make sure you’ve accounted for any difference in original sample rate of the loop and the project sample rate, and made the appropriate choice for what you want to happen on disparate sample/project rates.

Good point @Thor.HOG you must make sure to tick the box to match the clip sample rate to your project when it asks you if you want to import the file.

Hey all, for some reason, when I restarted Cubase, all works great. Thanks for the tips! I think the link to project tempo tip did it, it’s just for some reason, it didn’t work until I restarted Cubase.
