When a song is played, we loose the focus on the channel (assignment, fader…)
Channels may change dynamically when Parts change, that is intented. Just don’t.
It is a problem if we need to change the fader position during the show …

What is your point of view about the fact that we may need to change the fader during a show ?
I don’t understand that question. Just tell me how you think it should be?
Look again at the gif below : The song is playing in live, and for any reason, we have to move the fader. Actually we cannot change the volume on the fly.
I see. You can change levels etc, but not during a transition to a different Part. That seems like a rare problem, Parts are usually sufficiently long in time for such changes.
