Loss of MIDI ports when using Cubase 15 Artist and Keylab 61 Essential

Hello everyone, can anyone help me ? Each time I want to add a second track in a project with Cubase and Keylab, Cubase seems to lose the MIDI ports of Keylab, so I cannot record anything. Very frustrating. I am a full beginner on Cubase. Thank you !

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Which Cubase version exactly do you use? Do you use the latest 15.0.30? If not, please install this latest update.

Does it lose MIDI input or MIDI output ports, or is it MIDI remote, MIDI port?

HI Martin,

I installed Cubase 15 Artist on Wednesday 27 May, right after I purchased it. I just can say that when I try to record a second track in a project, Cubase seems to lose contact to Keylab.

Could it solve anything if I just reinstall the Cubase application with Download Assistant ?

Which OS do you use, and what MIDI devices (virtual or hardware) and audio devices do you have attached in beyond the Keylab?

Hello Psychlist1972, sorry for my delayed answer. I use Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and Windows 11.

Thank you
