Lost midi connection

Hello,

Hopefully I am able to describe the problem good enough to get some help :confused:

I cant get no signal from my midi keyboard in Cubase 5 32 bits. It has worked earlier. There are noe input signal in the meter on the transport panel.
I have also installed Cubase 5 64 bits and here it works fine.
The interface is a RME Fireface USB. Two midi input and two midi output. Only midi input 1 is connected.
The only difference between 32/64 bits which I can see is in the Midi port setup;
In 64 bits the two midi inputs are activated. The two midi outputs are not activated.
In 32 bits the inputs are similar (activated), but one of the midi outputs are active. I try to hide/disconnect it but it doesn’t seem to “lissen” to me… When I do this and goes back to the project cubase stops…

Suggestions?

Did you try re-installing the interface’s driver?

Yes, the driver for the interface is updated and installed. I have also refreshed the preferences in Cubase (https://www.steinberg.net/index.php?id=2022&tx_p77sbknowledgebase_pi1[article]=224&tx_p77sbknowledgebase_pi1[]=&L=1&#2)

I didn’t help… :frowning:
