When I first installed Cubase Pro, I set up the audio in and out to the Yamaha, and it worked well.
I happened to bring up Cubase w/o the Yamaha on, and it asked about switching to the Windows ASIO. I didn’t plan to use the Yamaha, and I said OK. But now I’m wanting to play through the Yamaha, and I can’t get it going.

What do you have, in the Studio > Studio Setup > Audio System > ASIO Driver dropdown list ? A screenshot of it would help.
I ask this, as it seems that the “Yamaha ASIO” (or whatever its name…) is no longer available. From which, the first thing I would try is to reinstall it.
Thanks for asking. That fixed it… If you can’at tell, I’m brand new to DAWs.
I was thinking if I selected the Yamaha in the Port Setup that would do the trick.
