Loud Distortion with EW Spaces II & Cubase Pro 14

I am using EW Spaces II reverb as an insert with some tracks in Cubase Pro 14.

Whenever I make an adjustment to Spaces (e.g., input, pre-delay etc), I get very loud distortion and have to shut down Spaces to stop it (although the tail continues for a while).

Does anyone know what might be happening and how to stop it? Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi,

To me it sounds like a heavy Buffer Size overload. Try to increase the Buffer Size.

EW plugins generally have a higher CPU hit that others - is this only with EW plugs … no issues with the stock Cubase reverbs for example?
