Lovin' 15 Pro ... thank you Steinberg development team

Very affordable upgrade from 14 pro to 15 Pro.

Love the VST Plug-in Manager look/overhaul.

Scaling is a big help.

Last Touched another time saver.

Expression Maps changes look very interesting, need to play with that some more.

OmniVocal is very interesting but not sure why it’s listed as “Beta” … improvements to come?

Hopefully a fix for Dolby Atmos comes soon.

All for $99, thank you!

Agreed, and I like where things are headed as far as speed of use, GUI updates, and intuitiveness. Both C14 and C15 made some good strides in these departments with updating some of the dated and fiddly parts of Cubase, and my hope is that it’s the number one focus for the next version with things like the Pool, getting ripple edits, and many more little changes that make life faster and more enjoyable.

I personally have had no issues with crashing more or anything like that, everything has been very smooth, and I have tons of plugins and instruments that I use huge amounts of, as well as VE Pro running on the same computer.

I sure as hell hope so. It shouldn’t chew up 50% resources when doing nothing

Yikes!

I ran a quick very simple test and my resources were around 5% (didn’t really change much at all).

Sorry, NOT figured out how to get nVidia video capture feature can record ASIO audio output during Cubase 15 playback (so just picked up from a mic/mono and sounds like poop).

On my computer Omnivocal also keeps the CPU rather busy. I guess it depends on the CPU. Mine is already some seven or eight years old.

I went onboard too, but doesn’t change the fact that this is the most insignificant update in the history of Cubase, probably.

probably in the history of DAWs. No wait, in the histroy of the universe. Yes, that’s it. You gotta think big.

Nothing beats Studio One’s when they added a new feature which was a link to a 3rd party store (TuneCore)
