I noticed yesterday when low cutting a bass there was noise coming from the low cut. Almost a light crackling sound, maybe like static. Not a ton, but just enough that I noticed it.
I turned off the channel strip low cut and the noise went away, so then I tried the SSL Duende channel EQ for the low cut and no noise.
Sure, I guess this could be a difference in EQ quality, slope, etc., but it would seem that a dedicated low cut should never create noticeable artifacts.
Has anyone else noticed any noise or unwanted artifacts from the dedicated LC and HC on the channel strip?
