Would be nice to be able to enter Low Latency mode. Sure I could comb through the session and disable plugins and change the buffer size on my interface then switch everything back but wouldnt it be nice to be like Logic and have it at the switch of a button?
Yes, like all the major DAWs, Cubase has both low latency mode and hybrid buffers.
Check out the button in the bottom left hand corner.
