Since 15.0.20, the lower mix console somehow automatically hides closed folder tracks.. any way to switch this off?

Hi,
please search the forum. There are plenty of threads on this particular topic already.
Hmm related to 15.0.20? I honestly could not find anything, otherwise I wouldn’t have posted. Would you care to link one? Thanks!

Just look at the most recent topics. Here’s one for starters that’s linked to another one in the Nuendo forum
Hello forum users! Like a lot of others, I’m excited about the new group-folders-as-group-channels feature. It opens up (Logic/ProTools-like) ways of working. I’ve noticed those DAW users keep their group busses beside their folders (I have an impression that the mix consoles ‘over there’ are not as richly featured as Cubase). In Cubase I keep my group busses pinned to the right side of the mixer. I do tend to have a one-to-one between the Group Folders and the Group Busses quite a lot (thoug…

Is there a quick way of folding all groups in the mix console, instead of pressing the icon on every group?
And this one
Groups are not showing in lower mixer of C15.0.20. And there is no longer an option to open the side selector to enable which things show. (see attached screenshot).
It seems to be a bug in the new update to Nuendo 15 as well. You can’t see any GROUPS in the lower mixer. In both Cubase 15.0.20 and Nuendo 15.0.20. It’s fine in C14 and N14.

And this one
Thank you, Steinberg
Long-awaited feature (I didn’t care for it, but everyone else did)
My only issue is that when I close the folder tracks, I no longer see my audio events. It has now been replaced with the volume automation lane, which I understand.
Is there a setting to have both? I’d still like to see my events when I close folder tracks and then have the volume automation lane overlay the closed folder. yes??

As you can see, my session looks empty…
Thanks @Reco29 - appreciated!
@couchpoets was your issue addressed by any of the linked threads? I’m suffering from the same issue and I couldn’t find an answer for achieving the desired behavior in the lowerzone mixconsole…
Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a solution.. seems implementation of Folders was changed..
I ended up converting many of my Folder tracks to Folder Group tracks, and am very happy about it..
I don’t think the mixer in the lower panel was intended for serious mixing, which is why it lacks a lot of the features in the full mix consoles.
I may, of course, be talking (typing?) out of my shapely derrière.
