I’m getting a strange audio display in the lower Editor window - see screenshot below. The waveform is not displayed properly and on one track that I had extracted MIDI from the audio there is a MIDI overlay appearing. Bouncing the audio track removed the MIDI overlay but the audio display for all audio tracks in this project is stuffed. My other projects have a normal audio display so I don’t think I’ve changed anything in the Cubase project settings. Can anyone help me to get back to a normal audio display? thanks Rob
Hi,
you’ll find a zoom slider at the lower right side of your project window. This will help you to adjust the display to taste.
Thanks @Reco29 but the zoom is not the problem. I should have a yellow on black display reflecting the main track above rather than the mono and greyed out image below
Looks like you have the VariAudio tab active.

Brilliant - an unintended mouse click somewhere along the line and not a function I’ve yet had occasion to use in Cubase!
Thanks so much @steve problem solved.
