Lower zone Won’t get any smaller than this?

I thought it was possible to shrink at the lower zone so that I can see more of the project zone. When I try to resize by dragging the lower border of the project zone, this is as far as it goes.

Cubase Artist 10.5
Windows 10

I have to guess that this limit is for making sure that a decent view of the controls in the lower zone is always achieved. At the same time, it depends on our monitor. For example on my monitor here (28" 2560x1440) the project window is fairly big, I can see 17 tracks when having the lower zone to its limit:

I think my monitor is 1920 x 1080.

I’ve been away from Cubase For a few months so it’s not fresh in my mind, but I thought I had more ability to squash the lower zone.

In 1920x1080, I get 9 tracks visible. If I set scaling to 150% I get two visible tracks, while in 125% I get 4 tracks as seen in your screenshot.

so perhaps I should check the scale setting…

update:
That worked!
I went into preferences, general, and clicked on “Enable HiDPi”
Had to restart Cubase.
