I know that will sound weird, I know I know. But is everything okay with the LTC signal generator? Something screwed my on sunday really much (therefore skipped using internal LTCgen yesterday until finding out the possible reason).
Today, did a recording (on second computer) to see what am I missing:
The one generated with elteesee (online ltc file gen) looks as it supposed
(it’s a pre-generated, 16bit 48k WAV, played in AudioTrack VSTL)
Meanwhile, recording VSTL LTC gen (using the same out port / physical cable) looks like this in the same environment):
rec LTCgen’s signal with another sound-device, quite same result:
p.s.: there is a bit of difference in gain, but booth recordings are in the healthy range.
Can’t wait to try then. My another idea was to reduce LTCgen sig just 2dB (I don’t know the coded sig-level, but in spikes above it’s hitting me the red of internal VU).
