Moving cursor (kybd right arrow) to next note position (on beat 1, 3rd partial ) jumps to beat 4?
(If you really are using Dorico 5.0, I would recommend you update to Dorico 5.1.81, which is the latest maintenance update for Dorico 5.)
Are you talking about advancing the lyric popover, or hopping the selection between notes? I suspect that the lyric popover is only looking at one of the instruments in the kit when determining where the next note position is. (Even though percussion sticking is often input using lyrics, because there’s no dedicated tool for it in Dorico as yet, lyric input isn’t really designed for use on percussion kits because it’s unusual for lyrics to be associated with notes written for percussionists.)
aaah OK Daniel. If Dorico is not designed for the drumset stickings then that makes sense.
