In this example, I have no idea, how to get the lyrics closer to the staff (changing “Engraving options / lyrics / vertical position” did not work as expected)

Hard to be sure what’s going on here without seeing the score.
(1) Is this galley view or page view?
(2) If it’s galley view, does the same problem occur in page view?
(3) Is there an object, probably a very low note, later on which is pushing lyrics down at that point, and the rest are moving down too to stay aligned?
