Lyrics missing in cubase 15 (upgrade from 13)

Hello,
I just upgraded from Cubase 13 to Cubase 15.
My lyrics are no longer displayed in the Cubase 15 score editor, but they are still there in Cubase 13.
Do I now have to re-enter all the lyrics?

I use v-synth 2 from dreamtonics for my vocal drafts, then export a MIDI file of this track from its editor.
I import this MIDI track into Cubase (notes and text). I could then see this in Cubase’s score editor.
Now this function somehow no longer works.
Best regards,
Alex

Maybe attach a couple of screengrabs.?

Maybe attach a small (one line) ‘dummy’ project, or just the MIDI track (notes and text), that shows the problem when imported in C15.?

Lyrics from Cubase 13 or earlier were actually stored as part of a generic text attribute attached to notes, just as expression map articulations used to be. That’s the main reason why they can’t realiably be converted to the new separate Lyric representation.

You’ll find further threads on this topic, like this for example: No imported text and chord events in the score editor of cubase 14?

Ah.! Forgot that… Thanks.

Sorry, I think I have confused matters @kyru and @StefanFuhrmann.!

2 things:-

I’m unsure if he ‘saved’ a C13 project (with the imported midi file made inside his v-Synth 2) and is now trying to open that project in C15… Or, whether he is simply trying to import the midi file straight into C15…

EDIT: - have edited my other post.!
