As you can see, the lyrics of the cue notes (from voice 2) crash into the regular lyrics in voice 1. Can I move the position of one of them? Alt + Strg + Shift + arrow up/down doesn’t work.
Or how to solve this problem?
Thanks
Miki
Hi @feeke17, and welcome to the Forum!
I am able to move the lyrics (both the “real” ones and the cued ones), with the moving shortcuts in Engrave mode:
Can you flip the cue lyrics? (haven’t got cues in front of me to test right now.)
TBH, I’d question the merit of having overlapping cues and real notes. The cue helps me to make sure that I’m going to start singing on beat 1. So by that point, it’s no longer helping – just getting in the way.
@benwiggy I have been having similar issues, and I have been flipping the lyrics in cues. But then to my horror discovered that if you do that, even when working in local mode, you also flip the lyrics all instances of that passage (i.e. you are flipping the lyrics in the source, across all layouts). Seem like a bug — in that one either shouldn’t be permitted to flip lyrics in cues, or that one should, but it should be layout specific — especially when in local mode. Flip at your peril…
