Hi, is it a bug that when entering lyrics, and changing to the next verse, the V1 never changes into anything else then V1?
Are you referring to the V1 on the left?
It is on the right of the lyrics entry box where you set the verse (number), although you can use up and down arrows (before entering the word) to change to v2 v3 or chorus…

Exactly. Entering lyrics is without any problems, multiple verses. I only was curious if the V1 never changing into V2 or V3 is a bug?
The v1. on the left is just an icon to indicate that you’re using the lyrics popover. It doesn’t change. It is not a bug.

When, after upgrading to v. 6, I first saw that “V1”, I was also confused by it. I think that a different icon such as a quill pen or something might be less confusing. Maybe @dspreadbury would consider some change in the UI here?
I don’t even know when I last opened Finale, but I don’t recall that icon. I do recall the quill pen. I think I like a quill better, but I really don’t care. The “V1” to me is confusing because of the “1”. The dialog is not only for verse one. No biggie. Once we know what it means, we’re OK. But when it showed up the first time it made me access a part of my brain that had been latent a while just to make sense of it. Probably not a bad thing.
