just wanted to post my experience with the ssd after researching a while. I got os, cubase and samples on different ssds connected via sata.
All runs smooth. The only factor which could be optimized was the load time with large patches of
omnisphere 2 - trillian (included in omnisphere 2). I moved the steam data to the m.2 ssd and … fantastic. Patches load directly when selected.
I did not move the native kontakt data cause load times are pretty good with sata ssd (in fact of small file sizes of kontakt).
So at end the miracle is solved for me.
