Mac and the Library Manager

I’ve been a Good Boy and have been using the Steinberg Download Manager and Library Manager to manage my Dorico install (including VST sounds). Sadly these are Intel-based apps using Rosetta 2 to act as a translation layer. This layer is going away very shortly.

Are there any updates on when we will get a native version? While I haven’t tried it, I know Dorico 6 is a native app so I am assuming there is a way of updating it without the manager? Or am I kidding myself?

Will there be an update to the Steinberg utilities for Apple Silicon?

Apple has publicly stated that Rosetta will be removed in macOS 28, so there’s at least a year and eight months. Apple has learnt that they need to warn users of forthcoming changes in advance, and point the finger at developers, to avoid being blamed for ‘suddenly breaking things without warning’. Intel-based apps are no longer compatible

Hi everyone, I have a Mac Mini M4 Pro updated to the latest version of the operating system. When I launch Dorico (latest version), this alert appears telling me that a Dorico component will not work with future versions of macOS.
