This might or might not be Cubase, but I’m hoping someone will recognize the problem.
I have certain aif files that grow to enormous,. nonsensical sizes. Whatever size it starts at (they are between 5MB and 20MB), the file will grow to 1.83GB, this occurs after I use mediabay to tag the file, whether it be rating or Family Name (those are the two tags I have troubleshooted with).
When I notice the sizes grew, I restore the files from a backup. Next time I use mediabay to tag I have copied files, if any of these files are selected the same thing happens again. It seems to only affect these particular files.
I have of course run Disk Utilities repair (Disk appears Okay) and fixed permissions.
