I’m setting up a new SSD media drive and was wondering what’s the standard practice nowadays for formatting an external media drive for Cubase? Are folks still disabling journaling?
I know it used to be standard practice to disable it for media drives, but Apple has since removed the option of disabling journaling (via Disk Utility anyway) and in my research I noticed Pro Tools now recommends leaving journaling on for media drives.
How are you formatting your external drives for Cubase? Thoughts & any updated info welcome!
