My limited understanding is that Dorico would process things like casting off on a single core because all things equal it is more efficient to use a fast single core than harness multiple. But given that some processes take a very long time to calculate I wonder if there’s ever a world in which Dorico might be able to take advantage of multiple cores for these extreme situations.
