Well I’ve reached the end of my tether. I’ve been using cubase on my macbook pro (bootcamped) for a while, but it has terrible stuttering - turns out the o so expensive macbook I bought (core 2 duo) has issues with it’s firewire port.
So my options are:
- Buy a nice new macbook pro and actually use it as a mac
- Buy a super fast power pc tower and run windows 7 in it.
This is the question. Using 5.5.3 on a pc in 32 bit mode, how much faster is it than a mac with exactly the same processor (i7 etc)?
Anyone done a performance test with bootcamp 32 bit vs macbook 32 bit?
