I’ve actually solved this issue for the many people that found the provided solution is not enough on an M1 Macbook. The issue lies in the security policy set on Macs by default. To resolve the issue: Once you’ve installed the Yamaha TOOLS for URC, open System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Under the General tab, you’ll see a prompt to update the Security Policy in Recovery Mode. Continue with this procedure. Shut down your Mac, then press and hold the power button until Startup Options…

It’s so shame that I really need to use recovery mod on Mac to make working a simple software from famous corporation like Yamaha. I had no problem with it on windows at all.
