Apparently, Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion” will not run “Rosetta”. Does this mean that old PPC plugins will no longer work with the VST bridge? Or does it use some other mechanism than Rosetta to run them?
Yes. And rosetta is not part of Lion. Steinberg needs to fix their ppc plugins in cubase6 to be lion compatible. And if you have other ppc plugins you need the updated to intel or you have to stay on SnowL to use them. You can also try to install rosetta from SL but dont hope to much about that.
